Hello! I’m Stephanie Busby, the founder of Two Herons Travel, where I turn dreams into unforgettable adventures. My journey to this point has been fueled by two lifelong passions: art and travel. As an art teacher, I loved inspiring young minds, but the time away from the classroom opened the door to my true calling—exploring the world. Now retired, I dedicate myself to helping others discover the joy of travel and the magic of stepping outside their comfort zones.

Though I’ve spent most of my life in Colorado, surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains, I'm always researching new and far away destinations. Thanks to adventurous parents, my sister and I spent our early years sailing through the British Virgin Islands, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and the Bahamas, as well as camping in Canada, road-tripping to Mexico, and navigating Costa Rica’s potholed roads. A semester abroad in Spain deepened my wanderlust, with weekends spent backpacking around Spain and Portugal.

My more recent adventures have taken me across Central America, Europe, Egypt, Mexico, and throughout the United States. Each trip has been a reminder of the transformative power of travel: experiencing new cultures, daring to eat new foods, and never fearing the thrill of the unknown.

When asked, “What’s your favorite destination?” I always think, “It could be the next one, so I better keep traveling!” Italy and Costa Rica hold special places in my heart—the charm of Europe and the laid-back tropical vibes speak to my soul.
